To accomplish these goals, IDK Ventures offers inexpensive web site designs for political entities and civic and fraternal organizations.  Our beliefs carry into the free-market system by making available to small businesses the same features.

In the early 1980s, the CEO of IDK Ventures was designing a model railroad layout.  After deciding the era for the layout, he wanted a name for the railroad.  After many days of not finding a suitable name, he said to his wife, “I don't know what to name the model railroad.  I just can't think of a name.”
 

The company was originally known as IDK, followed by IDK Enterprises, and currently IDK Ventures.  The first name change was because IDK was a registered company name in the state of Minnesota and unavailable.  IDK Enterprises was registered as the official business name.  A few years later, the CEO wanted to establish a presence on the Internet only to discover that IDK, IDK Enterprises, and IDK Systems were all registered domain names.  Once again, a name change was required to what is currently IDK Ventures!
